   It snows (a lot)
   It's snowing (a lot)

El cielo está despejado
  Sky is clear
Está lloviendo
It's rainning
Hace mal tiempo
The weather is bad
Hace buen tiempo
   The weather is nice/good
Llueve
It rains
Hay neblina
It is foggy
Truena
  It's thundering

 

         

There are several verbs to describe the weather in Spanish. If this is your first time studying Spanish I recommend you to get familiar to those expressions, and try to use them daily. Try watching the weather channel in Spanish, that's an excellent way to practice. Good thing is that weather changes every day, so you will always be surprised!
     Check below some verbs used with weather. Do not attempt to do any literal translation. Remember you are learning a new language, and it is completely inappropriate to translate word to word.
